Have You Been in For Your Checkup Lately?

Category: Posted on: 12/28/20 3:40 PM

Let’s face it: going to the doctor’s isn’t at the top of everyone’s to-do list, even in a perfect world. Add Covid-19 into the picture and the anxiety multiplies. In reality, however, a doctor’s office is one of the safest places to be right now!

A CDC study from June found that over 40% of adults surveyed admitted they delayed routine medical care because of virus concerns. But delaying checkups is more counterproductive than anything else. Would you delay having the oil changed in your vehicle?

Even avoiding wellness checks or regular routine checkups can have negative consequences. The earlier any anomalies are detected, the better prepared your medical team will be to prepare a course of treatment, thus improving your odds!

We at OGAWNY are taking all possible steps to limit the spread of the virus and keep our staff and patients safe, healthy, and comfortable. Our ultimate goal is your health, and we’re pulling out all the stops to ensure optimal cleanliness and a secure, sterile environment.

When you’re here, be sure to give a warm welcome to our newest staff members. OGAWNY is pleased to welcome Nurse Practitioner Nicole Fazzolari, Physicians Assistants Alexandra Galvano and Cassandra Carr, and Certified Nurse-Midwife Rachel Muroff!
