OBGYN Associates of Western New York is excited to welcome Mary Kate Frauenheim, MD to our practice! Dr. Frauenheim was born and raised in Buffalo and is excited to return to the community. She will be seeing patients in our West Seneca and Lancaster offices. starting September 5, 2023.
Before coming to OGAWNY, Dr. Frauenheim earned her undergraduate degree in neuroscience from Columbia University, after which she attended the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and received the prestigious David H. Nichols Award, which recognizes excellence in gynecologic surgery. She then completed her residency training at the University of Buffalo.
Dr. Frauenheim has a passion for all aspects of women’s health and obstetrics and looks forward to closely following the well-being of her patients. She specializes in gynecologic and minimally invasive surgery.
She lives in Kenmore with her husband and two dogs, and in her free time, she enjoys baking, exercising, and spending time on the lake.
